Melissa Ann Pinney: Girl Transcendent
Melissa Ann Pinney is a fine art photographer based in Evanston, Illinois. Her works in this exhibition are selected from a long-term exploration of emerging feminine identity and the female experience, captured in the cumulative activities and rituals of everyday life. Vivid with color, gesture, and light, the images reveal the mysterious and ardent inner life of girls on their journey to womanhood.

Ai Iwane: Island in My Mind, Fukushima 
This extraordinary exhibition of work by Ai Iwane from Tokyo documents the connection between Japanese immigrants who traveled to Hawai'i from Fukushima, Japan, at the turn of the 20th century, to the aftermath of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami there. Using a Kodak Cirkut large-format 360-degree panoramic camera, she provides historical insight into a disaster that is both far away and close to home.
